Terms of use
DoodleScout helps families and educators find drawing lessons from reviewed YouTube channels. We show catalog metadata, official previews and links to original videos, plus DoodleScout AI Studio, which makes public drawing examples with AI.
What DoodleScout provides
DoodleScout currently provides a free discovery catalog and DoodleScout AI Studio. The studio may include paid plans, credits or usage limits as the product develops. DoodleScout does not provide professional advice or a guarantee that a drawing activity will work for every child. Use the site with a grown-up when appropriate.
External content
Original creators and YouTube own or administer the external lessons, videos, thumbnails and other source content. YouTube and each creator have their own terms, copyright rules and privacy policies. Check those terms before downloading, printing, copying or sharing anything. A link, official thumbnail or embed on DoodleScout is not an endorsement or a licence to reuse the source content.
Accuracy and age guidance
DoodleScout may estimate difficulty, age range, step count or time. These labels are suggestions, not guarantees or a developmental or safety assessment. Adults should decide whether an activity, tool or material is suitable for a particular child and supervise when needed.
Suggestions and removal requests
Send only links and information you are allowed to submit. Suggestions and removal requests are reviewed, not published automatically. We may correct or remove a catalog entry, but sending a request does not guarantee that we will add or remove anything. See the Privacy page for how these submissions are handled.
AI drawings
DoodleScout AI Studio creates drawing examples, colour by number worksheets and step-by-step sheets with AI. They are not verified lessons and may be imperfect. Submit only friendly subjects. Do not enter personal information, real people, harmful content or instructions to bypass the studio’s safeguards. Named characters, brands and logos may be accepted or declined by OpenAI. You may add a reference image from your device or an image link, but you must have permission to use it and should not upload personal photos. We may remove a result.
Each approved result is automatically shown in the public AI gallery with its image, keywords, activity, difficulty, colour mode and whether a reference image was used (never the image itself). No name is shown, and it may remain available indefinitely unless DoodleScout removes it. Do not submit anything that must stay private.
AI can make mistakes. We do not promise that an output is unique, accurate, suitable for every child or free from resemblance to third-party work. Check an output before using it, especially before commercial use or redistribution.
AI drawings generated through DoodleScout AI Studio are DoodleScout content. To the extent permitted by law, DoodleScout owns or controls all rights DoodleScout may have in those drawings, the gallery, its selection and arrangement, edits, metadata and presentation. Using the studio does not transfer ownership to you or give you a reuse licence. AI-generated output may not qualify for copyright protection, and similar output may be generated elsewhere. DoodleScout therefore does not guarantee exclusivity or that every part of an output is protectable.
DoodleScout gives you a limited, non-exclusive permission to download, keep and print a reasonable number of copies of an AI drawing for personal, family, classroom or other non-commercial educational use. You may colour in a printed outline and share a link to the original DoodleScout page. This permission does not transfer ownership.
Unless DoodleScout gives prior written permission, you may not edit, distribute, sell, commercially use, use as training data or republish an AI drawing or a substantial part of the gallery. These restrictions apply even where a particular output is not protected by copyright. We cannot recall copies made by others before a drawing is removed.
Generation is subject to per-connection limits and a shared daily allowance. Failed or blocked attempts may count toward those limits. Availability is not guaranteed, and the studio may be paused or changed at any time.
Reports and moderation
Use the Report button when a public AI drawing needs attention. A report queues the drawing for review; it does not remove it automatically. We may hide content that is unsafe, unlawful, misleading or otherwise unsuitable for the service. Automated checks are helpful but are not perfect.
Availability
We may change, remove or correct catalog entries, AI drawings or site features. External pages can move or disappear, and embedded videos may be unavailable in some regions. The site and its links are provided as available, without a promise that they will always be complete, current or uninterrupted.
